Parasitoids of Fruit-Infesting Tephritidae

Originally described in the genus Opius, almost nothing has been published regarding this species. The host association with Anastrepha in seed capsules of Manihot esculenta is based solely on label data (Wharton and Marsh 1978). This species is known only from Panama and Costa Rica (the records from Costa Rica based on label data on specimens I have examined rather than formally published records).
